On March 25th, 2018 Hubei Yuanan Tianye Marathon opened fire and nearly 10,000 Chinese and foreign runners competed in the green fields and golden flowers of the hometown of Qian Zu. The competition consist of three marathons (42.195 km), half (21.0975 km), mini and family run (7.5 km). Yuanan Tianye Marathon was founded in 2016. It is the first marathon event featuring fields. The first event was awarded by the China Athletics Association as a bronze event and ecological special event.
