“Second Smart Water Conservancy and River and Lake Long System Technology Innovation Summit Forum” was held in Zhengzhou. The conference was co-organized by China Smart Water Conservancy Science and Technology Innovation and Development Alliance, North China University of Water Resources and Hydropower, Henan Water Conservancy Society, Remote Sensing Committee of China Water Conservancy Society, and Remote Sensing Technology Application Center of Ministry of Water Resources. Leaders from various river basin agencies, water resources departments (bureaus) of the provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, rivers and lakes long offices, hydrology and water resources bureaus, information centers, ecological environment, etc., rivers and lakes, reservoir management bureau, water conservancy survey and design institute, water conservancy More than 500 representatives of leading experts such as the Institute of Science, higher education institutions, relevant research institutes and technical product holding units attended the conference. As the governing unit of China Smart Water Conservancy Science and Technology Innovation and Development Alliance, ALLTECH was invited to attend the summit forum.  

 

At the forum, the director of the famous Chinese Academy of Water Research Center and Academician Liu Changming of the Chinese Academy of Sciences made a special report on "Several Discussions on the Management of Rivers and Lakes Based on the Concept of Benign Water Cycle".Researcher of the Second Institute of Oceanography of the State Oceanic Administration and Academician Pan Dehua of the Chinese Academy of Engineering made a special report on "Foreign Remote Sensing Equipment and Technology for the Smart Ocean", which has a good reference for the construction of the smart water conservancy three-dimensional monitoring network.Professor Li Jiren, deputy chief of the China Institute of Water Resources and Hydropower Research and chairman of the Remote Sensing Committee of the China Water Conservancy Society, made a special report on "Remote Sensing Industrialization from the Service for Rivers and Lakes." It analyzes the remote sensing business needs, data sources, data volume, data processing, information extraction, technical requirements, information provision and cost for the service of the river and lake. It is concluded that the remote sensing industrialization is the best way to serve the rivers and lakes, and further analyzes the current situation, existing problems and ways of realizing the remote sensing industry chain.

Mr. Wang Yunlong, a technical expert of ALLTECH, gave a speech on the application of industrial-grade drones in the “river-lake system”, expounding that with the rapid development of drone technology, industrial-grade drones can be in the water environment. Pollution detection, river inspections, flood disaster monitoring and rescue have played a huge role. Traditional water sample collection methods are problematic in that they take a long time, are expensive, are difficult to reach in special areas, and may cause harm to the human body in harsh environments. The development and characteristics of multi-rotor drones make it possible to use water drowners for water sample collection and real-time analysis. With the advantage of “Eye of the Sky”, the UAV has carried out a full range of blind spot shooting on the pollution of the river. Compared with ordinary manpower inspections, drone river inspections have overcome many factors such as “wide basin, large area, and complex terrain”. It can also master the basic situation of the river in an all-round way, effectively reduce the work intensity, and improve the efficiency and accuracy of river inspection. UAV airborne remote sensing technology can provide ortho-beam, 3D modeling and other applications by carrying high-precision cameras or surveying cameras, providing detailed basic data and scientific basis for river management and planning. Industrial-grade drones will add a powerful boost to the construction of “smart water conservancy” and “healing of rivers and lakes”. ALLTECH will also closely integrate the application requirements and cutting-edge technologies of the water conservancy industry to promote the in-depth application and technological innovation of industrial-grade UAVs in the water conservancy industry.

The construction of "smart water conservancy" and "river and lake long system" needs to vigorously promote water conservancy science and technology innovation, and vigorously promote the deep integration of high-tech and water conservancy businesses such as the Internet, big data, cloud computing, satellite remote sensing, and artificial intelligence.
